The tough and reality-bruised Captain JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky) finds herself in charge of a lone nuclear missile interceptor base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean after she is wrongfully drummed out of her dream job at the Pentagon. When a simultaneous coordinated attack then threatens the base itself, Collins comes face-to-face with the charismatic yet crooked Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey), a former US military intelligence officer intent on carrying out an unthinkable plan. With only minutes on the clock, Collins must utilize her years of tactical training and military expertise to determine who she can trust and stop Kessel and his covert mercenaries from completing their twisted and terrible mission.

“Interceptor” somehow manages to hold your attention. Lots of it has to do with Pataky who earns our sympathies. Not so much for the terrorist threat her character faces, but for the task she’s given of making a really sub-par script entertaining.

Henry B what a terrible movie. I really mean it. It is as bad as it gets. All the Americans in the movie are traitors and a girl from Spain saves the American army against Russians (I assumed that is the ending because I stopped watching an hour in the movie and had to rush to the bathroom to throw up). So many elements were unrealistic to the point where it wasn't entertaining. Very disappointed.I think my biggest issue is more with the story. As I said, a lot of it was unrealistic, and certain character reasoning for why X was happening didn't line up.The backstory behind the main character was a typical cliche that obviously was used for the sole purpose of explaining why she was where she was. It was such an overused sub-plot I started getting annoyed whenever it came up.The ending was even more confusing. Granted, I skipped ahead a little cause it was boring, but how it ends leaves you scratching your head as to who the bad guy was.
