It is often said that the sand dollar is worth more than the real dollar. I find the best beach on Anna Maria Island for sand dollars is Bean Point. With some good detective work, you can find them on Bradenton Beach, Coquina Beach or Anna Maria City Beach, and everywhere between.

Anna Maria Island boasts seven miles of beautiful beaches. Each one offers warm turquoise waters, powdery white sand (that somehow never burns your feet no matter how hot the sun gets) and unobstructed views of the most spectacular sunsets you'll ever see.

The most Southern tip of Anna Maria Island is known as Coquina beach and has parking for hundreds of vehicles with a sidewalk path just to the East of the beach that makes bicycling or walking 10+ blocks North and South away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Drive.
