Why can't I reply on Blizzard forums? ›

If you have problems posting on the forums: Log out and back in again. Check if your browser is out of date. Clear the cache and cookies in your browser.

Check your network configuration to find any issues with your firewall, router, or port settings. If you're using a VPN, try removing it. Disable any proxies that may interfere with the login module. Run a security scan to remove any viruses or malware infections.

Type in /resetchat in the chat window —this will restore your chat setting to default. If the issue persists reset your user interface to make sure your addons are not corrupted.

If you are unable to see or select the character you'd like to choose for your avatar in the forums, try the following troubleshooting steps: Log out of the forums completely. To access your chats on the Battle.net desktop or mobile app, click on Chats and Groups. You can have conversations with individual friends, or groups of friends if you create a Blizzard Group.

Run Software Update to check for pending updates to software, drivers, and firmware. If you're using a wireless connection, optimize your internet connection to rule out a connection issue. Release and renew your IP and flush your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.
